TroubleShooting – Error when connecting Motorola Handheld to wireless network

When trying to connect a Motorola Handheld wireless unit to a wireless network may result in this message:

“The profile you are trying to connect to may not connect due to regulatory issues.”

To fix this, please do the following :

  1. Tap the wireless icon on the task bar at the bottom right of the screen.
  2. Select Options from the pop-up menu
  3. Under options you will see beside OP Mode Filtering a drop down arrow. Click on the drop down arrow.
  4. Select Regulatory
  5. Uncheck the box that says Enable 802.11d
  6. And Then Click Save
